About Chuck Laue and Chris Kerr
Chuck Laue: In addition to being Co-Founder and Chairman of Stray Dog Capital, Chuck serves as Vice Chairman of Asurion and is the Managing Partner of Quinn Capital, a private investment firm focused on insurance assets. He also sits on the board of IRL Holdings in Mexico City, and both Rawxies and Companion Protect. Chuck is an active supporter of animal welfare in Kansas City including his board role at Great Plains SPCA. He is also a co-founder and board director of The Quinn Foundation and Ringo's Fund which are private foundations focused on charitable giving for animal welfare causes. In 2013, Chuck’s role in animal welfare expanded in scope to the national level when he was named a member of the board for the Humane Society of the United States.
Chris Kerr: Chris is Chief Investment Officer at New Crop Capital and has nearly thirty years of leadership experience with start-ups and venture capital investing. He has spent the last decade focused on impact investing with a concentration on food markets and the plant-based foods sector. As CIO, Chris manages portfolio strategy and serves as a strategic adviser to most portfolio companies. On behalf of New Crop, Chris serves as Co-CEO and chair of Good Catch, managing member of Trellis New Endeavors, director of Purple Carrot and Next Foods, and observes Miyoko's Kitchen. Additionally, Chris is director at Unovis Partners, Sirabella's, Wicked Healthy, Mathgarden, Pitcairn Financial Group, and Anark Corporation.
