About Ben Davis
Ben developed the idea for Plant Based World Conference and Expo as a result of his own drastic transition to a plant-based lifestyle and earnest desire to make the world a better place. He is now working with JD Events – an innovative boutique trade show management company with a well-established 17-year track record of launching and growing unique concepts into industry-leading events. Ben is serving as Content and Communications Director and Chair of the Advisory Council for Plant Based World, which is being launched at the Javits Convention Center in NYC in June of 2019. Ben wholeheartedly believes that the shift towards plant-based consumption is the most essential transformation our world faces today, and that by combining his passion with the resources and expertise of the JD Events team, PBW will quickly become the most important event serving the plant based movement.
Why You Should Listen
Seeing the popularity of the plant-based food sector, my guest, Ben Davis, decided it was time to create an event where players from every part of this new industry could come together and help spread the word about the many benefits of eating plant-based through the Plant Based World Conference and Expo.
The expo is set to take place in June of 2019 and will serve as a place where plant-based product manufacturers, food service providers, retailers, entrepreneurs, investors, healthcare professionals and consumers alike can receive education, high level networking opportunities and the most up to date innovations in plant-based living. The expo has already garnered the support of leading organizations in the space, such as Good Food Institute and the Plant-Based Foods Association, and will tackle issues that are relevant to the industry and movement.
In this conversation, Ben and I get into why this expo is needed and dive deeper into what he hopes this sort of conference will achieve. If you are interested in the world plant-based food and are looking to learn more about this incredible event as well as much more, listen in!
